Hello, my name is Maria Kirkpatrick, and I am the owner and director of Count On Me Academy. I opened this academy because I believe that every child deserves a place where they feel safe, valued, and truly cared for—just as I would want for my own family.
My passion for early childhood education comes from a deep commitment to helping children grow not only academically, but also socially and emotionally. I wanted to create a childcare environment where children are encouraged to be themselves, families feel supported, and trust is at the center of everything we do.
At Count On Me Academy, our mission is to provide a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment where children can learn, explore, and build confidence at their own pace. We focus on meeting each child where they are, while partnering closely with families to support their growth.

My vision for Count On Me Academy is to build a close?knit community where children feel confident and excited to learn, parents feel informed and supported, and teachers feel valued. I want families to know that when they choose Count On Me Academy, they are choosing a place where their child is truly known and cared for.
As owner and director, I stay actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the academy. I work closely with our staff, support our families, and ensure that our standards of care remain high. When you walk through our doors, you’re not just enrolling in a program—you’re becoming part of a community I am deeply proud of.
